Irish Vacation Rental Terms & Conditions

 

Acceptance and Confirmation of your Booking is subject to the following conditions: -

 

 

Accommodation Capacity

For insurance reasons the total number of clients staying at the holiday home must not exceed the maximum capacity. The owners reserve the right to terminate your vacation with immediate effect if the number is exceeded.

 

 

Arrival and Departure Times

Arrival times are between 16.00 – 18.00 hours on day of arrival. Departure time 10.00am latest on day of departure. These times must be strictly adhered to. In the event that you are unable to arrive or depart at the specific time, advance approval must be sought (087 2541517). We cannot guarantee acceptance of an earlier or later arrival or departure time request, however we will endeavour to do all possible to accommodate you.

 

 

Balance of Payment

Full payment of holiday home rental cost must be made to us, no later than eight weeks prior to rental commencement date. Late payments may result in the holiday home bookings being cancelled without advance client notification. Payment is accepted by cheque with bankers card. All major credit cards and electronic transfers welcome.

 

 

Bed Linen

Bed linen and 1 set of towels are supplied free of charge.

 

 

Behaviour

We reserves the right to terminate this contract if the behaviour or conduct of the customer either prior to or during a holiday is likely to endanger the safety or well being of other customers in the party or that of the customer himself / herself.

 

 

Booking Deposit

A non-refundable booking deposit of one weeks rent or per weekend rental per holiday suite is required. No invoice or letter of confirmation can be dispatched to you until all deposits have been received. Normally Euro 200.00—300.00depending on the property

 

 

Cancellation by Customer

In the event that you wish to cancel your holiday suite reservation, the following charges will apply.

Out side eight weeks from arrival date you will forfeit your booking deposit.

Within the eight weeks of commencement the balance will only be refunded if we are successful in re-letting the property.

There will not be a refund if the customer arrives later or vacate the property prior to expiration of their booking

We recommend you take out your own travel insurance to cover such problems

 

 

Complaints

In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the Site Manager. Failing a satisfactory resolution the complaint should be placed in writing within 14 days to Customer Service Department, Ballinaskeha Leamlara Co.Cork

 

Default by the Consumer

The consumer is obliged to ensure that all documentation and details issued to you are correct. In the unlikely event that you do not agree with our documentation it must be brought to our attention immediately.

 

Disabled Persons

It shall be the consumer’s responsibility to disclose, prior to booking, any physical or mental condition of a member of the party, which may be relevant.  We reserve the right to decline or provide a holiday for a disabled person where in our mind that holiday would be inconsistent with the special needs of a disabled person.

 

 

Electricity & Gas & Heating Charges

An extra charge applies for electricity usage whilst using the holiday home. This charge is payable by the client directly to the manager on site, prior to departure. The charge is based on individual electricity/gas/oil meter readings and it is advised that the client check these readings both on arrival and departure.

 

 

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that clients take out holiday insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation charges.

 

 

Late arrivals

Failure to notify the on-site manager of a late arrival may result in your reservation being cancelled.

 

 

Liability

The owners of Irish Vacation Rental its employees or agents shall not be liable for any damage, loss or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control i.e ( fire , flooding etc) . In such instances, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to expiration of their booking

 

Pets

Pets are not permitted in any holiday home. Exception made for guide dogs.

 

 

Right to Decline

We the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such instances, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered.  However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to expiration of their booking.

 

 

Security Deposit & Cleaning

A refundable security deposit of € 100.00-150.00 must be paid on arrival. The deposit will be refunded once the housekeeper is satisfied that the terms &conditions of rental have been complied with. Final cleaning is included in the rental charge, but failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition, may result in loss of the security deposit.

 

Special Request

Requests for cots, high chairs, must be made in writing and whilst we will endeavour to do all possible to meet your request, it cannot be guaranteed.
